Dear Friends of HBC,

On behalf of the congregation of Harleton Baptist Church, welcome to our website.  We are delighted to share with you some information about us and hope that you find it helpful.  This church exists for the glory of God.  We believe that we are made for the purpose of being in a relationship with Him and to recognize Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.  We strive to bring glory to God through singing and praying together, hearing His Word preached, loving Him, loving one another, and serving well.

We are an evangelical community of believers nestled amongst the communities of Longview, Hallsville, Marshall, Jefferson, Ore City, and Diana.  We love our little “neck of the woods” and are delighted at the spiritual health God has cultivated here.  We are also thankful that He continues to bring committed believers into our fold and that He has sustained us to be a light for Him in our area and around the world for over 130 years.  It is a blessing to serve God in the mission field of Harleton with these brothers and sisters in Christ.

As a part of our mission, we would love to be of help to you.  For that matter, we would love for you to be of help to us, as we serve God with a Christ-centered focus.  Whether it is Harleton Baptist, or someplace else, pray that God would show you where to commit yourself to His people in His service.
