Brent Lowry

Pastor Brent has been involved in full-time ministry since 2000, when he began serving right here at HBC as Minister of Youth & Education.  He has served as HBC’s Senior Pastor since December 2019.

The Lord has blessed him with his beautiful wife, Rena, and with 3 daughters and 2 sons. 

Heather has served as HBC’s Secretary faithfully since May 2021.

The Lord has blessed her with her husband Lance, and a daughter and a son.

Joel Simmons has served as HBC’s Worship Ministry Intern since July 2023.  He graduated from East Texas Baptist University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Worship Studies and Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry in 2026.  Joel and his wife Eden are expecting their first daughter, Lucy in July 2026

Carl, Ross, Kevin, & Rusty were affirmed to serve as elders of HBC on September 17, 2023.  They love the Lord & His Word and seek to shepherd the members of HBC with the heart of Christ.
